Györ is the most important town in north-west Hungary. With a population of roughly 130,000 it lacks the size and bustle of Budapest, but nonetheless possesses an entirely individual charm, created by a combination of its beautiful historical buildings and proximity to the Danube. One of its major selling points is its centrality, positioned, as it is, almost exactly halfway between Budapest and Vienna (Bratislava is also not far away) and therefore making it the perfect location from which to explore the many delights of Central Europe.

The city of Györ is experiencing a period of unprecedented growth. The site of the old Raba factory, originally built more than 100 years ago close to the historical downtown area and next to the river Danube, is being replaced by a new community where an exceptional quality of life can be experienced. Constructed alongside the banks of the Danube, this splendid, green belt area is going to be a completely new community with residential and commercial areas, public institutes (kindergarten, school, clinic), as well as parks and a state-of-the-art road network.
